I just got back from the July meeting of the Charlotte Flash Designer/Developer Meetup.com group. It’s a nice mix of people. The purpose of the group is similar to what we want to acomplish with this group. We definitely recommend attending one of the meetups.
The look of this blog has changed slightly, most importantly in the header. Thanks to Ben Visser down at Nice Outfit, Flash Charlotte now has a identifying mark. If it reminds you of the Adobe CS3 icons, it should. We’re trying to keep correlation pretty clear.
We just installed a Vanilla board to serve as the site forum. We’re limiting the sign-ups to folks in and around the Charlotte region, as to provide a little more value to the community. If you fit the bill, head over to the forum and sign-up.
We’re getting things setup and tuned up. Look for more updates and a forum, in the not too distant future.
